Sixth Form Examinations

Sixth Form Trial Examinations Timetable - January 2017

2016 A LEVEL RESULTS FROM THE COLESHILL SCHOOL

Coleshill Sixth Formers going for Gold!

We are proud to announce another record breaking year for our A Level and Vocational Diploma students, with 40% of examination entries being achieved at A*-B grades. This is the highest total in the school’s recent history and a further increase on last year’s results. These fantastic results are a reflection of the dedication of our students and staff. The strength of these results will mean our students are well placed to go on and achieve their ambitions.

With a pass rate of 98% our students have shown real determination and resilience to achieve their best. Headteacher Ian Smith-Childs commented ‘These students have embraced the Olympic spirit to “be the best you can be” and have worked tirelessly to ensure that their results reflect their potential. Like the medal tally from our amazing performers in Team GB these results are the culmination of years of hard work.  There was an immense sense of pride in the exam hall as students opened their envelopes to see all of their efforts rewarded.’

These examination results have been achieved across a wide range of subjects and at a time of curriculum and examination changes for many students. Some of our top performers are noted below, but we congratulate all of our students and wish them well on the next step of their learning journey. All of our students have secured places either at a university of their choice, an apprenticeship or are starting in employment.
